Wow! A million times WOW! Why did we only find this gem of a restaurant on our last night. Staff amazing and food fantastic! I had a fillet steak, and it really was up there as one of the best steaks I'd ever had. Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Absolutely beautiful. The waiter was so friendly and helpful too. He was happy to change the chips for canarian potatoes and offered advice on the menu. 100% would recommend and would come back next time we're in Playa blanca.
They managed to seat us as a walk in on New Year’s Day. We had starters and mains with drinks. Absolutely superb seafood paella for 2. The best one we’ve ever had in PB. We will definitely be visiting again before we leave.
Delicious dishes, really large portions, fresh seafood and very affordable prices. You can buy 2 big steaks of tuna for 9€ only or seafood plateau for 15€. In the end of dinner waiters treat visitors to free liquor . The only negative was the rude young bartender who was always unhappy. The second time there we didn't see him, hope he was fired :) But the rest of the staff is very friendly. Also the cafe is always full of people, so good reviews are well deserved
Great place to come for a fabulous steak. Fantastic value, friendly staff, great food, although the chips could do with 2 minutes more in the fryer....... Great for snacks too (the largest bowl of garlic mushrooms we've ever had !) We'll be back next holiday ! Gracias amigos !!
Fantastic! Great atmosphere created by attentive waiters and a permanently busy restaurant. The food is excellent and we went twice during our stay in Playa Blanca. Try it you won’t be disappointed

Just back from lunch, our first time in Típico Español. It was very busy. They offered a 10.50€ menu which was 3 courses. No drinks. We decided to order from the menu/carta. We were 3 people who shared 4 tapas (baby squid) garlic bread with tomato, chips and sardines a la plancha. We also had a mixed paella of seafood and meat for 2 people. It was delicious 3 drinks and all under 50€ including vat 7%. I recommend and will be returning.
The food was really great and tasty. We ordered few tapas, startes and paella with chicken & meat. We did not have to wait, everything was made very quickly. The food was nice and delicious, I especially enjoyed the chicken croquettes and the paella. As a plus is a children playground just accross the street so we could actually enjoy the food
